Types of environmentally friendly lunch boxes

With the prevalence of environmental protection, in order to limit the amount of plastic used, all walks of life are looking for new products that can replace plastics. In the catering industry, with the huge use of plastic lunch boxes, an environmentally friendly lunch box based on plant fiber has been born and sold abroad. Then why is plant fiber, a material that is not oil-resistant and non-waterproof, becoming the first choice for environmentally friendly lunch boxes?

When it comes to environmentally friendly materials, first of all, paper is the type of material we are most familiar with, and "replacement of plastic with paper" is naturally the most preferred solution. In terms of recycling, recyclability and degradability, paper is the best.
But here comes the question, where does the paper come from? The production of paper requires a large amount of forest resources. The water and soil erosion caused by a large number of felling trees is obviously not in line with the national conditions of our country; on the other hand, turning paper into a lunch box requires turning paper into pulp, and pulp production will cause serious water pollution. , And the production cost is still high, making the price of paper tableware is also relatively high, it is difficult to be accepted by consumers.

2. Biodegradable lunch box
The second type is biodegradable plastics. So-called biodegradable plastics are made by adding additives, such as photosensitisers and starch, to the production process of plastics. Plastic products made in this way can be discarded and then decomposed after three months of exposure to the elements, but only the full shape is broken down into pieces, making it visually appear as if the environment has been improved. The fact that these fragments do not continue to degrade and just go from large to small pieces of plastic is pointless.

3. Plant fiber lunch box
Plant fibres are fibre powders obtained by crushing straw, bagasse, etc. The whole process is made into a pulp board, then crushed and mixed with water to form a thick pulp, and finally formed by hot pressing.

The great advantage of plant fibre is that bagasse and straw are crop waste products. One comes from a sugar mill and the other from farmland. The very rich source of raw material is the main reason for its widespread popularity. It is also a natural raw material for foodstuffs and there is no doubt that it degrades naturally.

Regarding the problem of oil leakage and non-waterproofing of vegetable fibres, we have developed an environmentally friendly film for lunch boxes. This film can be perfectly solved by vacuum adsorption on the surface. With a strong package, the environment for the future development of lunch boxes is a huge change.
